1. How You Opt In
Foodtrkr is a user-initiated messaging service. You opt in to receive messages by texting our phone number first. We never send unsolicited messages to phone numbers that have not contacted us.
By sending your first message to Foodtrkr at +1 (888) 265-0986, you expressly consent to receive the following types of messages from us via SMS or WhatsApp:
- Meal analysis responses (calorie and macro breakdowns in reply to your food logs)
- Follow-up messages when we need clarification about a meal
- Daily, weekly, and monthly progress summaries
- Dashboard login codes (one-time passwords)
- Trial status notifications
- Subscription confirmation messages
- Subscription cancellation notices
- Payment failure notifications
- Service announcements related to your account
2. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your usage. Each meal you log generates one reply. You may also receive:
- Up to 1 daily summary per day (sent at 8pm in your local timezone)
- Up to 1 weekly summary per week (sent Sunday mornings)
- Up to 1 monthly summary per month (sent on the 1st)
- Occasional account-related notices (trial reminders, service updates)
In typical use, expect 1-5 messages per day depending on how many meals you log.
3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Foodtrkr does not charge for messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging or data fees. Check with your carrier for details about your plan.
4. How to Opt Out
You can stop receiving messages at any time. There are no forms, no customer service queues, and no waiting periods.
- Text STOP to +1 (888) 265-0986 to immediately stop all messages. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
- Text START to resume messages at any time after opting out.

5. Supported Channels
Foodtrkr supports messaging via SMS and WhatsApp. Your messaging channel is determined by how you contact us:
- If you text our number via SMS, we reply via SMS.
- If you message us on WhatsApp, we reply via WhatsApp.
If you switch between channels, we automatically update your preference to match your most recent message. You can switch at any time simply by messaging us from the other channel.
6. No Sharing of Your Phone Number
We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely to provide the Foodtrkr service. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.
